If you love japanese and korean foods, why not enjoy a dinner at Yakimix in Timog Quezon City? They are serving one of the best tempuras, different types and flavors of maki, sashimi, sushi, and grilled marinated cuts of pork, beef, chicken, fish and other seafoods, etc., This buffet type of restaurant is quite expensive but the foods are better and taste real fresh than served in japanese and korean fastfoods.

Even though it was raining 2 Sundays ago, we were not held back to go at Tiendensitas (after lunch at The Podium) to look for a delicious and decent halo-halo. Bistro Mateo was the place, enjoying the cozy place, not so crowded and tranquil atmosphere. Enjoy your cup of coffee and a bowl of halo-halo.

I am a lover of french fries. Since I was a kid, I would always order french fries on every burger meal in any other fastfood chains like Jollibee, Wendy’s, Carl’s Jr., KFC, A&W and McDonald’s. Recently, I have a horrible experience from McDo delivery because the fries I ordered was LARGE but what came to me was this…

We love this tenderloin steak at House of Minis in Greenhills served with soup of the day, bread and butter, salad and ice cream as dessert for a good price. Anyway, I think it’s worth it! Their steaks are so tender and delicious. (*burp!*) ;p Try to eat @ House of Minis and enjoy the experience. But if you are trying to be economical and still wanted to eat a delicious steak, you can eat at Slice N’ Dice for Php99 only.

Visit Amici if you want a different taste of Pizza and Pasta which is amazingly delicious. Two thumbs up!!

This is one of the house specialties: the Beef Pepper Steak. There are steps you have to do before you eat this menu which is at least fun on my part. They will serve it hot but half cook. It is in your hands to make it well done. The taste is good but the only sentiment I have is the expensive price for the quality of food they serve. We’ve been food tripping for 9 years now so I already know what’s best and not. I rate their foods average.

Their Calamari is just average also. I still prefer the calamaris I have tasted in other restaurants ( I would not mention names here in this particular blog).

I do not want to pass this opportunity to thank the men behind our happiness on our wedding day… they made my simple wedding lovely and elegant! Although I was not really able to eat on my special day except for the soup, a bite of the appetizer and another bite of tanigue ala pobre, I am happy to know that our guests were delighted with our wedding as a whole. I was able to snatch a crepe suzette and the last dip from the Choco fountain. Thanks to the Eloquente waiters who served us very well and to Mr. Jun Garcia. =)

Good thing we know somebody working from starbucks, else I would not received my Starbucks planner 2009 and the Starbucks bag as complimentary for being out of stock of the planner last january. Nobody texted me of the information that they already have the stock. Since 2007, I am collecting their planner but today I am having second thoughts. I don’t know if the planner will be useful since it’s June now and 5 months had been wasted. Although I give credit for the ballpen and the bag which will go to my bro.

Another food trip when we were invited to attend a birthday party. Entering the place, I can already smell the sweet aroma of japanese foods. I was even tempted to snatch away one california maki and crunchy roll. Good thing I retained my composure but my eyes cannot and my stomach growled intensely (seriously!) as we wait for the word “eating time”.

If you want steaks and american foods in a fine dining restaurant then eat at Holy Cow. It may not be as good as Friday’s but you will find their foods delicious and fitted to the budget.
