Starbucks Planner 2008

planner1.jpg

This was my starbucks planner last year 2007. I very much like the design because of its originality and lots of pages to write on. Until now I’m saving the pen and writing pad (hehehe I’ve only used 4 pages) for souvenir. I’m still using the vacant pages of my planner for personal purposes. The paper quality is good.

This is my starbucks planner for 2008… A very expensive one because I bought 24 frapuccinos compared to last year’s 21 hot choco and fraps. Approximately my recent planner costed between Php3,000 to Php5,000 (waffles and cakes included and the fact that I was not alone) to avail this. A lot of my colleagues thought this planner is unattractive… they hated the design, color, less pages and less add-ons, no writing pad and just pencil compared to 2007 planner which was a sold-out (they did not avail this planner). Hopefully by next year they will come up with better design and lots of pages for Starbucks Planner 2009.

Onion rings with Ranch dip

Nice food very appetizing. I love the ranch dip it’s very unwinding and refreshing. I am now craving for salad.
But Don Henrico’s is still at the top when it comes to onion rings.

Who won the Amazing Race Asia Season 2 (Result)

I was so excited (an understatement of what I really felt) waiting for this race to end and routing for the Philippine team Marc and Rovilson (love your own). But it was to my greatest disappointment that they turned up third or last in the final leg. My heart sank at the bottom because this wasn’t I expected (actually not just me but a lot of fans out there). They seemed to be running first place “Team No. 1 as Allan used to say,” but failed on the final road block to their success. Rovilson depressingly consumed a lot of time arranging the flags of the countries they had raced on accordingly (keeps on putting the Australian flag where they hadn’t been haha!). And with the Singaporean gym buddies on the last trail turned out first in arranging their flags (Adrian is knowledgeable on flags so they really have an edge. He was putting the flags on its respectable rack like he was buying fishballs on some *med school* rather street in the Philippines hehehe). More acceptable if Pamela and Vanessa, Malaysian sisters, did win the race… but TARA2 is over and history cannot be changed… (unless you are under the current PGMA “evil” Administration hah-hah!).

However, though I hate to say this, maybe Adrian and Collin deserved to win and receive the $100,000 cash prize because they have done their best as well. Who would have thought that they can easily find the three stones, with red dot at the bottom, among the throng of different stones (either Collin has eagle eyes or luck was on their side or maybe there was something fishy going on?). Adrian kept falling on his ATV but Collin helped him all through out and on this leg Collin was very cunning I daresay because they did not fell with the sly tactics of M&R. A&C are very persistent in spite of A’s disability. But I’m still hoping that M&R won this race.

But still I’m proud of the Philippine team for reaching the last leg. Horraayyy for Marc and Rovilson!!! It was a great achievement (first time for Philippine team) because we have seen how powerful M&R’s teamup… How many times they were on the first place at every pit stop?!! They still bagged P2Million worth of prizes including 1 year gas service on Caltex, Sony video cam and a trip to South Africa. It was just one road block, savvy… Aye, in our hearts Marc and Rovilson are still TEAM NO. 1… you’re the BEST!

I was the one who painted the wall avocado green (using acrylic latex). I am very proud of my achievement because it turned out very beautiful (mwhah!). Now I love this room. :->

Napoli Pizza Ristorante

If you love pizza hut, shakey’s, don henrico’s, yellow cab or greenwich… why don’t you try Napoli’s Pizza?!! It has branches at SM North d’ Block, Timog (Rotonda) and SM Fairview. It may look ordinary on this picture but I truly say don’t judge it by its looks because this pizza is very delicious (qui a bon goût). There is something in its taste and aroma that you will really love. I even almost forgot to take a shot before we finish eating… see the Hawaiian specialty of Napoli. It’s so yummy with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top. Eating three slices (actually my share) I reached my point of satiety. We also ordered for Seafood Pasta, serves up to 4 people, and we always do because it is delicious. Money is not a question.
